My name is Jennifer, and I’m 33 years old.
I’ve struggled with iron deficiency for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve tried what feels like every iron supplement available. Some upset my stomach, some caused constipation, and some simply didn’t seem to make much difference.
After the birth of my second child, things became even more difficult.
Like many new moms, I expected to be tired. But this felt different.
My blood work after delivery showed that I was anemic, with a hemoglobin of 115 g/L and a ferritin of 15 µg/L. Even though I was already taking an iron supplement at the time, I felt exhausted.
Before Labs

Getting through the day felt overwhelming.
I had a newborn baby and a two-year-old to care for, and even simple tasks seemed to require tremendous effort. By the end of the day, I was completely drained. I assumed this was just part of being a mother of two young children, but deep down I knew something wasn’t right.
Through a friend, I heard about a different type of iron called SiderAL® sucrosomial iron.
At first, I was skeptical. After all, I had already tried several other forms of iron, including heme iron and polysaccharide iron. But I figured I had nothing to lose.
What caught my attention was that the technology behind it was different, and people were saying it caused fewer gastrointestinal side effects. Constipation and stomach pain had always been major problems for me with previous iron supplements.
My doctor suggested I try one tablet of SiderAL® Forte daily.
Within a few weeks, I genuinely felt a difference.
I had more energy. I could get through the day without feeling completely wiped out. Looking after my children felt more manageable. My mood improved. Friends and family even commented that I seemed more like myself again.
And amazingly enough, I had no stomach pain, no constipation, no black bowel movements, no side effects of any sort.
About two and a half months later, I had repeat blood work.
The results surprised me.
My hemoglobin had increased from 115 g/L to 127 g/L, and my ferritin had risen from 15 µg/L to 91 µg/L.
More importantly, I felt better.
After SiderAL® Labwork

Of course, life with two young children is still exhausting at times. No iron supplement changes that. But I no longer felt like I was dragging myself through every day.
I felt like the old me again.
The version of myself who could get through a busy day, go to the gym, meet friends for a hike, and still have energy left over.
For me, that made all the difference.
